“I’m Kenneth Wildes, and my career began nearly 45 years ago, training with luminaries John Dellaria, Trevor Serbie, Irvin Rusk, Vidal Sassoon, Bumble & Bumble, and Toni & Guy. I worked at and managed many of these storied salons and brought those experiences to bear in starting my own businesses.

I opened Kenneth Wildes Salons in Westwood, Massachusetts, in 1979 and followed with a second location in Brookline in 1987. I then consolidated these businesses into K/WSalons, our flagship, two-story salon in the thriving neighborhood community of Newton Centre.

As of January 1, 2022, my wife Kristin and I begin a new journey, stepping back from the business side of running a large, thriving Salon and moving to a Studio Salon in Needham Heights, where the two of us will focus on our passion ~ the art of creative cutting.

My teaching methodologies have produced some of the best stylists in the industry. Many of my protégées have started their own successful salons with the skills they acquired on my watch, and I wish all these businesses continued success.”
